1. Purpose and principles
The KYC/KYB (Know Your Customer / Know Your Business) Policy defines how WESOLLA clients are identified and verified.
A risk-based approach is applied: the depth of verification corresponds to the client's risk category, its jurisdiction and the nature of the planned operations.
2. Identification of legal entities (KYB)
Every legal entity is verified: incorporation documents, the register of beneficial owners (UBO), ownership structure and, where necessary, financial statements.
All persons holding a 25% or greater stake are verified. For higher-risk jurisdictions the threshold is lowered.
3. Verification of authorised persons (KYC)
Authorised representatives of legal entities are verified using identity documents.
Sanctions list and PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) screening is also performed.
4. Website and business model review
WESOLLA assesses the client's website for consistency with the stated type of activity and the presence of terms of offer and privacy policies.
Particular attention is paid to whether the content falls within permitted categories of activity.
5. Keeping data up to date
Client information is updated regularly. In the event of material changes (change of beneficial owners, restructuring, new types of activity), re-verification is initiated.
